Jhuwani Community Library- READ Center in Nepal, organized Gynecology Health Camp on 14 Dec, 2013, where 58 local women had free health checked up. Dr. Shri Prasad Adikari and team from Bharatpur hospital and Maula Kalika hospital provided technical support and free medicines. Out of 58, 2 women were found to be victims of Uterine Prolapsed requiring immediate surgery for which the library will coordinate with the hospital. After health check up, interaction program with Gynecologist was held to educate these women on Uterine Prolapsed and women reproductive health issues.
